A document management system is used to access, mange, exchange and track documents. Usually it provides operations that allow the digitization, identification, storage, recuperation, follow-up, creation of multiple publications, creation of flow of work, presentation and safety of documents.

Since 2009, the department has been adopted the software Knowledge Tree and several documents has been digitized, while from 2018 an OpenSource system is used, SeedDMS software.

With the help of an API through this system, students’ thesis  and a search interface in the thesis text are provided through the Department’s web page.
