The Department wired network use UTP 5e category cables and covered all closed and covered places. Network switches and routers are compatible with network speed: 10/100/1000Μbps. Students can only used the wired network on the Walk in Lab connecting their personal computers to the network ports which have a green dot. It is not permitted to detach any computers from the network or to connect personal computers to the wired network in any other labs. Offenders will be punished.
